How to Play NoomiClone: Your First Swing
NoomiClone is a physics-based gymnastics and flipping game. In the classic browser version, your body position changes how the swing carries through, and the moment you let go changes your flight. Work on one small goal at a time.
1. Choose the version you are playing
This practice sequence is for the classic keyboard-controlled browser build. The mobile apps have touch controls and features that may not exist in the browser build. See all four documented browser controls, or open the developer’s browser game page.
2. Try arch and tuck separately
Click inside the game after it loads so it receives keyboard input. Use Left Arrow to arch and Space to tuck. Watch the character’s position and the swing; treat each key as an input to explore, not as a shortcut to a guaranteed trick.
3. Repeat the same setup
Let the character swing through an arc and try to recognize the same point on consecutive passes. Keep the starting setup similar and change one input at a time. A repeatable motion makes it easier to see what your change did.
4. Release, observe, reset
Up Arrow lets go of the bar. Notice whether you were travelling toward or away from the next bar. Press R, repeat the setup, and release a little earlier or later. There is no single timing that fits every swing.
5. Add one goal at a time
First aim for a predictable release, then try returning toward a bar. Work on a regrab before adding extra flips. This is a practice suggestion, not an official scoring system or guaranteed trick recipe.
For a more focused exercise, read the regrab practice guide. Mobile players can explore the separately documented maps and modes.
